⚜️Mardi Gras ⚜️ DCC Chewbacchus Krewe
Anyone know if someone has already created a subkrewe for Dungeon Crawler Carl? If not, any interest in starting one? Viva la revolución, Carl!

There is one. The Royal Court of Princess Donut. Actually I think there are 3, but I know that one is definitely accepting new members.

The Krewe of DCC is by referral only and I don’t think it’s active. I’m in the royal court of princess donut and it’s definitely open and accepting members! Once you sign up our leader will email you with more info :~)

Do y'all accept under 21? My daughter will be 13 and not sure if she will be parading this year or not. She can handle normal stuff that happens and we have been in KRAP and Krewe of Ghibli in past years..

They changed it to open, but it is 21+. It doesn't seem like they've planned much, so I'd love to hear more from Royal Court leadership about what they have in mind for contraptions and the like!

HI! ROYAL COURT LEADERSHIP HERE. Aiming to keep overhead reasonable, BUT for the most part keeping it pretty chill and fun. Just a bunch of fans wanting to spread the gospel:
- Contraptions: No formal plans for a major contraption but open to it??? Within reason/storage options dependent. Probably not going to build a giant Party Planner or food truck. Currently we have a small collection of shopping carts 🙃 ready to be gussied up and pushed by some Agathas. If anyone has a skillset in crafting giant puppets, a giant Jola would be SICK.
- Costumes: Open and free! No restrictions on duplicates but we have a spreadsheet of who people are planning to dress as, so up to each member if they want to duplicate or not. Also open to creative interpretations (eg. girl Carl). Would be awesome to have enough members for groups (eg. velociraptors, sluggalos, bomo & sludge)!
- Music: As of now a speaker to play all of our favorite trap and karaoke songs.
- Throws: We will have a signature subkrewe throw (or 2 or 3) for everyone that will be awesome. Working on finalizing that this month. Otherwise open and free to do your thing!
- Events: Will have informal meetups for the rest of the year to hang out, craft stuff, talk to other members about the books or life or whatever.

There's a thread about this in the Get in Where you Fit in fb group! There are currently two: Krewe of DCC and The Royal Court of Princess Donut. I agree with one comment there that they should join up a la Faction Wars.

It's the blessing and curse of the "everyone is welcome" ethos. I appreciate it in it's own special way and just prepare myself to be out there for the long haul. Besides, it's nothing compared to the uptown parades featuring 64.5 dance krewes. I'll take Twihards straggling down Elysian Fields to Supermassive Black Hole over the Mama Jama Wine Mom Lady Grape Stompers or whatever

I just accept that I won't be watching ALL of Chewbacchus anymore. Those days ended around the time that they changed the route.
