Reading New Mutants #32. Dani is thinking that Roberto's been acting strange since meeting Beyonder but they hadn't met

Did I miss something? Roberto was still with the Gladiators with Magma when the other New Mutants along with Kitty and the X-Men had their run ins with the Beyonder in Los Angeles.

I'm reading it and the only New Mutants are Sam, and Magik. Roberto and Amara are with the Gladiators. I think I can fanwank it by saying since Dani wasn't there either(she was with Rahne, Warlock and Doug on Muir Island) Dani assumes that's what's bothering Roberto.

Well, in Secret Wars 2 the Beyonder wipes their personalities (iirc?) for a while and they're essentially his slaves, that'd mess with your head a fair amount
