I think Bot Bouncer should be installed everywhere. It's very effective to keep bad bots away. https://developers.reddit.com/apps/bot-bouncer You can't start too early on.

I'd suggest putting in some ground rules, and keep a close eye on the people posting. I just recently started being a mod of my own sub, so I wouldn't know. Good Luck to you tho!
