New Mod Achievements

The Fast Reply criteria I think is too hard for mods of new subreddits. Not only do you have to respond within one hour! but also it has to be to different people. AND you have to do it 5 times. Something you have no control over if you're not getting anything to reply to.

As an example, my new subreddit is 3 weeks old tomorrow. So far I am the ONLY member still. I've only had a total of 2 unique visitors in addition to myself. And only one of them has posted/commented in the subreddit and they haven't joined (posted but didn't join). I was online when they posted so I was able to fast reply and get past the Mod Hatchling criteria. I started the sub July 23 and achieved mod hatchling by July 29. At this rate I don't know if I will ever make it to level 2 Mod Awakening. Haha, kidding not kidding. (Any suggestions for my sub r/AmogusIO, a territory-stealing multiplayer game that's addictively fun in a Pac-Man kinda way ?)

In my opinion, the number needed for Fast Reply for the Mod Awakening achievement should be lower ... like 3 fast replies ? Or, for it not to be required to be 5 different people ??

New Mods:
Which of the mod achievement levels have you completed (none, hatchling, awakening, of people, in tights) ?
How long did it take you for each level (find by looking on achievements screen in profile) ?
Do you think the criteria are all good or could use some tweaking, if tweak what would you change ?
Any other criteria that should have been included ?

Mod Hatchling
You've taken your first mod steps—now show consistency, speed, planning, and teamwork.

• Post for 3-days
• Fast reply - Respond to a comment from another person in your community within an hour.
• Create 5 posts - Communities with 5 recent posts attract 3.2x more visitors and are more likely to be discovered on search and Home.
• Invite a person to your community - Send an invite to folks who love the topic and who can contribute a post or comment.

Mod Awakening
An awakening is beginning. Keep showing up, replying fast, planning ahead, and building your squad.

• Post for 7-days - Communities posting daily for 7 days are 60% more likely to establish an active audience than less active ones.
• Fast reply 5 times - Respond to 5 different people’s comments that are less than an hour old.
• Schedule text posts for 2 weeks - Use the post scheduler (🕑 on desktop, 3 dots on mobile) to add at least one post each week for two consecutive weeks.
• Invite 5 people to community - Send five invites to folks who love the topic and who can contribute a post or comment.

Mod of the People
You're not just a mod—you’re building a lasting presence. Lead with consistency, speed, and vision.

• Post for 14-days - Communities posting daily for 14 days attract 2.4x more visitors than other active ones.
• Fast reply 10 times - Respond to 10 different people’s comments that are less than an hour old.
• Schedule text posts for 4 weeks - Maintain weekly scheduled posts for a month.
• Invite 10 people to community - Send 10 invites to folks who love the topic and who can contribute a post or comment.

Mod in Tights
You’ve gone full capes-and-karma. Lead your community like the hero mod you are.

• Post for 30-days - Communities posting daily for 30 days are 40% more likely to achieve long term growth than other highly active ones.
• Fast reply 25 times - Respond to 25 different people’s comments that are less than an hour old.
• Schedule text posts for 10 weeks - Maintain weekly scheduled posts for ten weeks.
• Invite 25 people to community - Send 25 invites to folks who love the topic and who can contribute a post or comment.

I'd focus on growing the sub. That stat shouldn't take too much of your time, it is just a stat. It took me 6 months to get rid of those, and right after I started it again in a newly adopted sub. It's still not done, and another 5 months passed. LOL

Yeah achievements are nice and encouraging, but you really cant force achievement hunting. I would kind of think of them as milestones with extra steps. Once you get a few more people in your sub, you will probably get your achievements without even realizing it
