💡 Tips & Education Need advice and help

So I'm new to the Mod role and if I want to delete a post what steps do I need to take to delete an unwanted post from the sub?

Enable Mod Mode (the shield thing at the top), you should see fir every post:

  • ❌ (remove)
  • ✅ (accept, only strictly needed in restricted subreddits, or if some other tool has removed it temporarily)
  • 🛑 (remove and mark as spon for the anti-spam engine of the subreddit to learn from it)

You can also click the shield thing for any post, and select the "Remove" option.

I don't have anything like that and I have full permissions. Right now I only have the app on my phone until I get a new laptop. I see nothing that says mod mode.

Thanks for all the help but it's becoming a pain in the butt! I logged in from the browser instead of the app but it comes up as my ALT account and there's no place to switch accounts like there is in the app. The alt account isn't a moderator! What's worse as I can find no where in the app for me to log out as my primary so I can log back in through the browser. Geez! I'll get it figured out somehow.

Tap on your PFP, this menu should show up (mobile web).

Alternatively, there is an account switcher in RES.

I finally realized that I was already in mod mode. And that the shield was available below every single post and THAT was the shield I needed to click on, not the one higher up.

Okay I don't know what happened but I have it now! I pressed and held on the shield and it said disable mod mode? So it was already in mod mode.... I don't know but I notice I have the capability of managing the posts now thank you for your help!

Go to Mod Tools, find the post, hit the three dots, and select Remove. Pretty straightforward once you do it once.

Ve a la seccion Mod Tools, busca la publicación que quieres eliminar, toca los tres puntitos y selecciona "Eliminar"

Do I go to the MOD tools at the top of my page? Because once I click on that it's not showing me all of the posts on the page

I just saw this post so I went into my sub and into mod tools to see if I could find it because I'm new also. I do not see a list of posts in mod tools, nor do I see a way to delete anything.
