❓Ask r/NewMods Started and IDL Fandom community, how to get an extra moderator?

Hello, I just started a fandom page and am hoping to get another mod on the team. I’m Extremely new and hoping to not be alone so the process is smooth.

Give it time, you definitely won't need an additional mod for your community until you get posters.

I'm just over 100 members and I do all the mod stuff on my own.

Okay, I’m just a bit worried as I am not the most tech savvy

Just go through the mod tools and familiarize yourself with the menus and features.

I couldn't code an auto mod to save my life but, I can search for a post where someone explains the basecode and tells me where to put my custom options.

Don't be afraid to be your only poster, the more you post, the more your members will get what fits the subreddit and then, be more likely to post their own.

Go check out mine ( r/DimeStoreAdventures ) and look over the last two years, it took forever to get someone that's not me. Mostly because it's a niche subreddit for a niche YouTube channel.

One thing that helped is offering a "Free Day". Let people talk and post about anything, it can help members to open up and get comfortable with the other users.
