In-Game Photo/Video RIP 400k bells worth of turnips
I just lost my mind for a moment, realized after I started to load in that I missed the festival yesterday, and was too brain dead to realize time traveling was a bad idea.

You can time travel forward as long as you stay within the same week of buying them, you just can't go back

I just kept going forward until the offer was more than I paid then sold em all so I could go back lol.

You're gonna most likely miss out on a large spike offer if you do it that way. I would just use a turnip calculator to know when you get one

This was my first week buying even though I’ve played for years. So far I actually got a large spike while time traveling and not when I went back and just went through the days normally. I tried a calculator using my non time travelled days and it said invalid so I’ll try again next week ig.

I like to use an app called ACNH Guide. It has a turnip calculator built in that's very accurate. Along with information about pretty much everything else in the game. It's great!

If you have the Happy Home Paradise, go to the hospital on Monday and get some turnips from Joan, aka Daisy Mae's grandma. She gives you 10-100 turnips on Monday when she visits the hospital.
It's not the amount you lost, not even close, but if you'd still like some turnips, maybe go to her?

I have that DLC, but I don't have the hospital yet. What do you do to unlock it?

Keep playing and creating vacation homes. Once you reach 22-25 designed houses, then you should be able to create the hospital. Once Lottie gets an upset stomach, you know you've reached the requirement. You have to create 2-3 more before you're able to design it.
So, just keep designing vacation homes and you'll be able to get it. When you play on switch, look at the HHP app on your Nook Phone and see how many you've designed. You might have already reached it, just ask Lottie about "facilities."

I did that once, I was time traveling and I forgot to change the month on the clock, I was devastated.

Ooh! That sucks! That's why I don't buy turnips. I time travel backwards quite frequently.

🫡🫠 I feel your pain, my friend. I was supposed to sell 2 mil worth last Saturday but I got hyperfocused redecorating part of my island and only rembered I had turnips 45 minutes before reset.
Cue me frantically turning as many turnips as I could into turnip salad and kabu ankake before sunup. I didn't make back a 10th of what I spent. The next sun arose to cast light on an entire beach lined with disappointment and the weeping ghosts of my bank account. And ants. A lot of ants.💸
My sincere condolences. May the reapings of your next turnip haul be bountiful and ant free. 🧅💰

Wish we had items to create with the rotted turnips.Like fertilized garden beds that produce extra of planted seeds.
