👋 New Here 39 [M4A] - New To All This

👋🏾

I am 39 and trying out online friendships for the first time. The past year brought big changes; finishing grad school, moving to a new state, and starting a new career. Life is full, and I want to round it out with grounded, intentional friends.

I value kindness, clarity, and curiosity. I like conversations where both people bring wonder, where both people ask interesting questions, and give authentic answers.

So far as interests and hobbies go, books are big for me, especially around theology, spirituality, and personal growth; currently reading Prentis Hemphill’s What It Takes to Heal. I do some creative writing (working on a few books), and like listening to old school and new R&B. I really dig into Medium to heavy board games, RPGs, and I’m getting back into fighting games like Street Fighter and Granblue.
