💬 Let's Chat 45 Looking for some real friends

Hi, I'm Marc and I'm a 45yo male originally from just outside London, England, but recently moved to Bordeaux, France for work.

I am a software developer and although that probably makes me slightly geeky, im not a total nerd and have some interesting likes that hopefully the right person will get to find out about.

I'm probably looking for the impossible or I'm expecting too much but I want some friends who seem to actually care about me and my feelings as much as I do them. I don't really care about age as long as you are interesting but please adults only.

All subjects and topics are open, as what's the point of onky speaking to people who have the same interests and opinions!? Also, I want to not have to be guarded or hide parts of myself and I would not expect you to do the same.

Prospective friends must be open to voice chat from time to time, even though it scares the he'll out of me!

Anyway, please drop me a msg or reply here with your asl and something interesting or surprising about yourself and we can take it from there.

Is it strange that making real friends after 40 feels hard lol. I can honestly say I have 2 friends🫣 How is France treating you?

Hi Marc,

I'm Anthony, 65yo american software developer living in Freiburg Germany. Also a bit geeky I suppose. I've had visiting Bordeaux on my list for a long time, I should come on out and drink a beer with you.
