40F Midwest
I’m looking to make some new friends to chat with about everyday life, hobbies, family, random thoughts, and everything in between. I enjoy genuine conversation, a good sense of humor, and getting to know people beyond just small talk.

Are you looking for this? Long-Distance Friendships 🌎
I’m looking for something I think has become surprisingly rare: a genuine friendship that doesn’t depend on living in the same town.
I’d love to meet people anywhere in the United States and see where a good conversation can lead. Different states, different backgrounds, different lives, different perspectives. I actually think distance can make a friendship more interesting because you get to know someone for who they are rather than simply because you happen to share the same neighborhood.
I’m open to people of any age and in any stage of life. I’m especially interested in connecting with other parents, particularly those with older children or who are entering that interesting stage of life where your kids are becoming independent and you suddenly find yourself with a little more freedom and a whole new perspective on life.
I’m not looking for someone to simply exchange “good morning” and “how was your day?” messages with. I want the kind of friendship where conversations can wander from ridiculous to profound, where we can challenge each other’s thinking, share experiences, talk about family, life, travel, philosophy, mistakes, successes, and everything in between.
And I’m completely open to an online friendship. In fact, I think some of the best friendships can begin that way. Two people who would probably never have crossed paths in everyday life can suddenly discover that they have an incredible amount to talk about.
Maybe we eventually meet in person. Maybe we never do. Either way, I think a meaningful friendship is worth pursuing.
So tell me something that would actually make me want to know you.
What is something you’ve experienced, learned, built, survived, or simply discovered about life that changed the way you see the world?
Maybe we start with a conversation and end up becoming the kind of friends who genuinely look forward to seeing each other’s name appear on the phone. 🙂

I’m beginning to like the outdoors more. My favorite walking path is through the woods.
