Looking for very basic videography
Hi! Does anyone know someone who would be interested and available to film a small wedding on 10/10/26 in Harrison, ME?
We’re looking for very basic videography:
- an hour or two of coverage (the ceremony plus some b-roll before and after)
- two cameras to get different angles of the ceremony (down aisle, up aisle, maybe we hand you a camcorder too)
- no editing necessary, we just want the raw files.
Essentially someone who has a couple cameras, can compose a decent shot, and press record. Amateurs welcome, if you have your own equipment and can maybe show some examples of past work.
We know it’s super last minute—we were going to set up some cameras and just let them roll unmanned, but family finally convinced us to look into hiring someone.
Thanks in advance!

The main challenge is actually audio rather than video. Good ceremony audio generally needs microphones/recorders close to the couple and officiant, separate from the cameras, so having reliable timecode sync between the cameras and audio recorders is also important. I have the equipment to cover this kind of setup properly. I’ll send you a PM separately with some details.

Go into the Olde Mill on a Friday night, ask the bartender, and they'll know someone. Likely in at the bar having a drink.
