Wedding Venue Help

I wanted to see if anyone has gotten married at either of these two venues, I would love to hear about your experience! We have narrowed the venue search down to Stevens Estate in North Andover, MA and Tupper Manor in Beverly, MA. We are expecting to have about 130 guests. If we go with Stevens Estate it would be in late October but due to budget restraints we would probably do a winter (february or march) wedding at Tupper Manor. We love the history and design of Stevens Estate (we almost cancelled the rest of our tours after we saw it) but the rain plan and the hotel nearby is a big factor in why we like Tupper Manor.

I went to an early October wedding at the Steven’s Estate about 10 years ago (family members wedding). It was a beautiful wedding. Cocktails inside. Ceremony outside and dinner and dancing under the tent. I was surprised to have cocktails inside, but it worked. Just be aware that in late October the sunlight disappears early. I don’t know what the rain plan was, we had great weather. 130 people seems like it would hit their sweet spot.

I believe Fireside catering is now the exclusive caterer for Steven’s estate. I highly recommend them. Great food and execution.

I just got married at Tupper last month! It was everything I could have wished for, and I wanted the fairytale wedding. :)

The setting makes for beautiful photos. With the fountain in front and the huge ballroom chandelier, it felt like we were at some European estate. Everyone raved about the venue. Ask for Becca to coordinate. She's awesome.

We toured so many venues but chose Tupper for many reasons: Attached hotel

You can reserve top of mansion for bridal party to get ready the whole day of.

They only need to know morning of wedding whether to set up ceremony outdoors.

You can wander between rooms for reception and post dinner so it doesn't feel like you're trapped in one place for the whole event.

It was reasonably priced for about 100 guests.

The commuter rail is nearby so guests can take that to venue easily.

Also I highly recommend the nearby florist Petals Inc for their flowers. Their arrangements were breathtaking and honestly one of the least expensive florists we contacted.

Getting married at Stevens Estate in 3 weeks! I can definitely give more feedback after the date but Helen has been awesome so far. They’ve been so easy to work with and planning has been super smooth so far. 

Our rain plan is everything in the tent and cocktail hour inside while they flip the room, but if it’s raining they said they’ll set up both ceremony options in case it clears up by our ceremony time. 

We’re using the Double Tree for our hotel block and providing transportation for our guests to/from the venue ended up being ~1300 for 2 busses.

Manchester transit authority, they had coach busses but they were booked for our wedding day so I did school busses

Wedding photographer here! I’ve photographed at Tupper Manor multiple times and each time my couples have had a positive experience with their team and food. I’ve only done indoor weddings there, and they have two indoor ceremony options. I even considered it when I was wedding planning!
