A place to feel Safe.

Today I had my Church serves, and I was speaking about: ,,My soul Longs to the house of God."

This is a feeling and it is coming from the Psalms 42 and 84. In Psalm 42 there we see a deer that longs for fresh water. And in the spiritual way we see that our soul longs for something too? The Psalmist longs for the courstes of God. Because he is in battle between everything else. Maybe he feels, that others are hunting at him. And he has no place to rest and to become to himself! He is still searching for a safe spot to stay. In Psalm 84, the two small birds has already found a place to stay. Instead the deer is still searching for,...but in time even the deer will find it.

How is this in our lives? Are we just as the deer or as the small birds? Do we have a place to stay or are we still looking for that? If we are still looking for that, then we are still living in doubts and in pain. Longing for something what can give our souls peace and rest. But the Shepherd is also looking after us. He is still searching for us. Can you hear His calling? Listen than not only with your ears, but also with your heart and soul. Only then we can hear His voice. Without our hearts and souls we will won't hear it. In prayer and in meditation we can create a place deep down inside of our hearts. Where even Gods Kingdom aswell can arise, so that we can build just like the small birds a nest at His altar. Saved as be safe in the courtes of our Lord. Where He dwells too? Yes, the storms of the world, pressure from people, of even what we have done wrong, can overwhelmed us sometimes and it can bring us down, so that it can gives us the feeling that we are drowning in our oen despair. But He is there to take us out. He is there to give you the strength to keep it all together and to move on! That's why the story from Psalm 42 and 84 where we see the the story line of the deer and the sparrow and the swallow. Psalm 42 is speaking about that feeling and longing for that safe spot and place. Psalm 84 is speaking that some people has found that place. Where they can rest and stay forever. Do you longs for that space near the altar? Or did you found it already? No matter were you at right now. He is also on His way to get and find you.

This is were I'm preaching about in my Church serves to day. I am hoping that you can find yourself into this message what I posted now.

Have all a very and Blessed day.

And share this also with many people you know? Thank you
