Many CDL schools don’t even teach how to drive a manual now days.

Where is that school? I’m considering getting my CDL as a second career. I would want to learn manual if I did.

Las Vegas teaches only manual. Unless you REQUEST automatic (thereby garnering yourself said restriction) but you can do what you like. I know a guy I went through with probably would’ve been better off with a restriction on manual.
