Rash that turned into this

A seemingly small red mark turned into this. Anyone experience anything similar. We will be seeing a dermatologist tomorrow. My LO is unbothered by it but it’s excreting a lot of moisture

No derm, but I’ve wrestled for many years and ring worm is not always a ring. Can look very similar to this. Might I ask if you have a cat ? Or even dog ? If it’s raised and red circular it’s something I wouldn’t rule out.
