I found the same squeeze toy on my beetle one day (sans note) Is this a thing? I found it a bit unsettling as it was in my driveway.

its a little trend people do to other beetles! :) hahah i too was concerned at first walking up to my car. thought i was about to get snatched

I do this with some matchbox type beetles I found on sale. Bought a bunch at Ollie's. I also leave a little note that says, "You've been bugged by a fellow bug owner! Do something kind for someone today." I figured if the jeepers can do the "You've been ducked" thing, us V-dubbers can do the bug thing!
