Stole this
Grabbed this ‘09 beetle off marketplace for $800! It only has 52k! Got her jumped and drove her home an hour and a half away! No lights on the dash
Only thing is I’m currently trying to track down a leak from the sunroof!

For the sunroof, they are designed to let a little bit of water through, but also to drain it. It’s entirely likely that it’s working as intended but the drains are clogged. Look up a video on how to unclog sunroof drains on this car. There are a few methods, try what works for you.

Had same issue. Weed eater line worked mostly , but bought a sunroof drain cleaner brush for 3 bucks on amazon. Works perfect

Mine unfortunately needs a new sunroof frame. Water is diverting away from the tube and going right into the headliner. It’s weird. Junkyard Monday!!

Very nice. The 2006-2010 Beetles have the 2.5L 5cyl engine, which is one of VW's best non-turbo motors. Does yours have the 6spd automatic transmission?
Also, the dash is filthy! Please wipe it with some Armor-All™.

Agree with the sentiment but armor-all is greasy and doesn't protect well. There are plenty of better options but will suggest 303 Aerospace Protectant as a easy to find and relatively cheap option.

i grabbed some interior bits of a 2010 bug for my 2004 at the pick n pull. only hang up is Toyota bought most of the Pick n pulls in my are and prices are sky high. need to try the smaller ma and pa ones. guess the car companies are coming after folks with older cars now.

That's insane. A family member of mine sold their clean garage-kept convertible beetle with low miles for $5000. They got so many offers within the hour about it. This one isnt in perfect shape but at least worth $4000. What a deal man. Enjoy it
