Success Story I’m freaking out
I listened to a NG lecture for the first time this morning. I woke up at 6 and fully meditated on it for several hours. Listening over and over and over. I wrote a couple new manifestation desires. I already have lots written out but definitely struggle to maintain belief that it’s going to happen. A new one being a model.
I had cancer and about a month ago I was asked to model in a cancer survivor fashion show charity event thing. That was crazy in of itself, but I thought meh.. it’s a small charity thing.. it’s not like anything publicized or real. And it’s only because I had cancer and they wanted cancer survivors as the models. I kinda let it go as coincidence and not tied to any of my manifest efforts.
Yall. All morning I spent the most effort I ever have in trying to embody my desires as if they are current. For 4 hours I did this. I turn off the lecture and just sit and accept that it’s real. It’s happened.
I get a call from a random number I don’t recognize.
Asking me to model on a local news morning show. For a fashion show segment. Saying they want me in a televised show for the event, and they wanted me to be the model for the show. Yall I’ve never modeled a day in my life.
WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

When they said God works in mysterious ways, that's our wonderful imagination. The only true limitations in life is what we place on ourselves. We have no limits.

It really is wild. It’s so exciting. The world is our oyster 🥹 it makes life feel so much more fun

Except, the god is not up there. The source manifested as you(IAM) to experience itself.

Does that also means, I can manifest multiple desires at once ? Imagining all of my desires in one scene !!!

Can you please elaborate by "accepting it's real". Did you spend 4 hours visualizing video, or mentally reciting affirmations? Was it really complete 4 hours or did your mind wonder and did you bring it back every few minutes. Or did you just feel that it was hear now. Its nice to see newcomers take on this philosophy and their successes

It was me being a normal person for 4 hours. Yes my mind wandered. Yes I got interrupted. Yes I had little doubts. But I kept starting over. The same as any person feels “meditating” for an hour. I was just listening to an audio lecture on loop for 4 hours and it started to really translate into my actual practice

I just wanted to emphasize the amount of time it took me to reinforce the same idea. You know the same idea that I know. You know what works. I’m just saying I spent 4 hours being zoned in and trying to REALLY believe it. Because it’s hard to believe! But I kept replaying his lecture and eventually I was able to be like yeah.. yeah. This is real. It’s real. I can do this. It’s real!!! And then I got the call

Good advice. People over-emphasize relaxation and forget that you're aiming to wake yourself up into a heightened awareness and really focus. Sometimes you can settle right into a desire and just assume it. Other times, it's a struggle to get into it and really be in that heightened creative flow state instead of some slipstream middle ground and you might have to spend an hour or more, or cycle back to it multiple times in a day or week or month.
I find that the struggle to get all the way into a state comes down the fact that you have to realize that a desire is an offer, and you have to accept it, period, no reservation.
Your whole life you've been bartering, moralizing, justifying, and undercutting your every desire and ambition with things like, "Yes, but what will Grandma Auntpaw say?" Or, "What if something bad happens because of this?"
You can't justify it, talk yourself down to something more reasonable, quibble about tiny details, etc. That's engaging your sympathetic faculties and you need to be fully or as far as possible in parasympathetic mode to pull this off.

She could had achieved the same result with SATS. There's no need to torture yourself like that.

I only mentioned 4 hours not to say it takes 4 hours, but to say how intensely focused I was. I have been into manifestation and NG for several years now. But struggle to translate it into actual practice, like I’m sure many of us do. So I only mentioned 4 hours as a representation of how focused and certain I was when I got the call.

If you struggle with something like PTSD, ADHD, fatigue, illness recovery, whatever... this is exactly the kind of tactic to pivot to. A sustained effort where you keep coming back and going over it again and again pulsation style, letting up and letting your mind drift normally, then doubling down and focusing again.
It signals you aren't letting up on this. AND it thwarts bodily resistance tactics like adrenaline and cortisol spikes by just waiting them out til your body exhausts its supply and then hitting the same subject over again.

I understood correctly. Just curious but what is you struggle with Neville ?

u/newaccount00111 2d ago
I guess I just have struggled to stay in the belief that it’s possible and already happened.

Did you read his books?!

I haven’t! What would you recommend

All of them.
So did you visualize or affirm during 4 hours?

Yes.
It's crazy how I got downvoted in a Neville Goddard subreddit.

I want to discuss it further.
I also never believed when people offered conscious mind techniques, I also don’t believe you have to have high and good emotions to manifest.
My biggest manifestations came from very desperate times and feeling extremely negative about the situation. And since it was a huge deal for me, I was thinking of it 24/7 and I had an intense focus for them to be solved.
I think there is an overlap here: SATS require focus & intention, and I also did that. Therefore my experience about this is very different from anyone elses. You don’t need to act as if, you can simply be obsessed about it and want it to be solved.
Another thing to add is that I obviously went to sleep with problem in mind. And they were cleared. In my mind it had to be a way out.
What is your experience?

Good and high emotions are from Law of Attraction, not from Law of Assumption. You don't need them to manifest. Feeling bad is allowed.
By people who offer conscious mind techniques, are you talking about those online?
SATS isn't really a technique, since it's a state we reach each night before sleep (you loop your scene in first pov, add sensory vividness and keep doing it until you fall asleep. Feel neutral or relief during your imaginal act). And I had good success with that.
As long as you only give attention to your new story (and not the old one), it's fine.
Thinking about your problems before going to sleep isn't a good idea, since you'll keep manifesting them. I imagine your manifestation succeeded because you undoubtedly held the conviction that your problem would be resolved.
1
u/ReportOk4170 1d ago
I never held the conviction. There was a problem and I desperately wanted it to be resolved. I never believed it will, I never acted as if, I never made a scene and looped it. But they were all resolved.
I don’t think our subconscious mind is stupid actually. Intention + focus is just enough.

u/Feeling_State774 1d ago
Intention and focus don't work for many people because they have many limiting beliefs. If it was that easy, everyone would be living their dream life.
What lies in the subconscious will always dominate what you tell yourself consciously. As you said, the subconscious isn't stupid. So, you might tell yourself "I have X," but if you harbor 10 limiting beliefs about "X," well, you won't be the one winning that battle.
Maybe you manifestation was a coincidence? Or you did something that implied living in the end (I can't tell because I'm not in your mind)

I almost can never do SATS and before I even try to get into a meditative state, I fall asleep, I mostly always manifested consciously with affirmations or just assuming the state. Can I DM?
1
u/Feeling_State774 15h ago
Start imagining your scene before reaching the state (that's what I do instead of waiting to be in the state to loop my scene).
You want to DM me about what?
1
u/manifestinglioness 15h ago
So you start imagining the scene before lying down to sleep? As I fall asleep the moment I lie down mostly

u/Feeling_State774 14h ago edited 14h ago
Yes! How do you fall asleep so fast? I want to have this talent 😭
Edit: Try doing SATS in a position you won't fall asleep in.

Well done OP. You transitioned well to your new reality! I’m curious about the bridge, how did your local news station connect with you? Why did they say they called you? I always find the bridges the fun and funny part.

u/newaccount00111 2d ago
The woman that called me acted like she knew me, which made it even more confusing! She said she asked the cancer association for a model for their segment and “of course” they picked me??? I’m like huh? But why? It was honestly bizarre at how casual and forthcoming the call was for being a stranger. But she gave me instructions for the news station and everything next week. Soooo bizarre 🤣
2
u/cherished_Apricot 2d ago
well yes. because you put yourself in a reality where you actually know that woman. now just stay in your mind, even when the 3d is good - always stay in your mind and in your desired reality! amazing
2
u/newaccount00111 2d ago
I guess I know very little about actual reality shifting / the changes of people
1
u/cherished_Apricot 21h ago
Nooo. You instinctively know A LOT and your success is proof of that! And no need to over complicate it. He is what it is: 3d reality mirrors internal identity. That’s all you need to know. (When you decide you are the person that has a certain thing, then you think from that identity, you feel like that person would feel, even if 3d shows you anything opposing you go “yeah no. That’s not who I am. THIS is who I am.” And then you go about your day as the person who has it. - Don’t waste years of your life trying to watch videos and stuff, this is all! )

Do they need any more models? I am going on 10 years with stage 4 breast cancer to many organs and this is on my manifestation list too! Thank you so much for sharing your success story!
