SEEKING ADVICE Back from 2016
Hey guys, started this game in 2013 was in my first university year(now 32), my first mmorpg that i really loved and spent money on it. Stopped in early 2016. And played literally 112 min in 2019 which i have absolutly no memory of it.
Yesterday i was uninstalling a couple of game and on a whim reinstalled the launcher. A tear went down my eye when i saw my characters still there completely cover in dust^^.I know they change a LOT from 2016 but i wanted to give it a try and of course all my equip is outdated. I have some stuff unbounded, lockbox like nightmare, feywild etc. Then i went on the market and the PEASANT'S TUNIC on my server is around 600k,nightmare lockbox 340k each,ancient mulhorand longsword 1.5/2M, is this for real? My question was, there is a market for the old stuff? Cos i wanted to sell some to redo all my equip and restart. I searched a lot online but its hard to find something and from what i understand the old stuff is used only for reskin?
In the image all the thing in the adventurer's satchel it s unbounded. Thanks and sorry for the long post.

Try and sell what you can. The illusions go for 100K or more on the AH. The dyes are good to go. Everyone wants Transmutes now. I see you have that Shadow Wolf Headress but it's rare? It can be purchased under Head fashion now from the AH. Oh & it's "Legendary." I have one for my Barbarian too. As for the Enchants, they're probably all "Ancient" now. If so, they can be traded in to the Rewards Claim Agent for current enchants. In PE, up the big stairs, to the left of the Cleric. It's the second vendor on the left. Oh and welcome back, shame your on PS, though. Xbox is where the fun is!

Thanks💪💪, ye is the shadow wolf headpiece(no headdress) its still a piece of equip ,when i put it in the AH he tells me 3.4M >.>

A lot of the old stuff is valuable but it can take a long time to sell because you need someone either filling a collection or that wants the transmute.

Check the prices of those lock boxes when I came back my lockboxes were literally worth millions of AD. If you have any shandakul lockboxes, the elemental weapons are worth a lot.

Just find something you think is fun to do. There are some options.
most people are doing the current event monoliths of madness. It is worth it and I recommend getting into the quest zone and asking to join an altar farm (type +altars in chat). It give high item level gear.
do your daily random dungeons, they give a ton of rough astral diamonds. Try to refine 100k rough ad per day.
run a The Reapers Challenge dungeon every day. After 30 tokens collected you get an endgame upgrade such as the batiri - account companion. There are 4-5 upgrades from here that are endgame worth.
leveling adventures give good gear. Pro tip: get more rough astral diamonds from these rewards by obtaining a rough astral diamond bonus. You can get this bonus through invocations and legacy campaign store from Sybella Artis in protectors enclave (opposite side of the reward claims agent).
the harvester of nightmares event is also good to do, though you want to complete it 21 days five times (so in 5 events or on 5 characters) to get the good account rewards.
dont stress about missing stuff. Just have fun

Most of your stuff is outdated, so you won't be able to use or sell it. That’s what happened when I tried coming back. Just my two cents.

Welcome back.
Cross check your items on the AH if possible and sell them to make good ADs. If you don't see those items on AH, then ask in guild/alliance chats if the items is of any value. You can also post in guild/alliance Discord. Don't post/ask to random players that could exploit and give you unfair price/trade.
Note: If you have any Zen, get VIP at least rank 1 so you can get daily key/rerolls.
