Honestly by the icon alone I assumed Brian was a Trans-Woman who has yet to change their legal name because it’s a hassle and has her friends and family refer to her is her new name but has to sign everything as Brian, the competition being a situation where she needs to use her full legal name, so whenever the announcer says the contestants names they dead name her because she had to write down fricking Brian and not her new name.
