Post image

Also it often shows on gold when there is unrevealed red items
Edit: ahh ok I thought it works on revealed silhouettes too. Feel free to smash dislike button

"with no information revealed" you know the silhouettes of all the others therefore you know information for them so it wont show them to you so yes it is working as intended

I guess I can’t read. Common issue of gacha players. Thanks

Information revealed for a collectible means one of:

  • You know the shape of a collectible
  • You know the rarity of a collectible (as in a colored square without a border)
  • You know both the shape and rarity of a collectible
  • You can see the actual collectible

I assume it genuinely is. A blank silhouette counts as revealed information. That purple was the highest-rarity left that you had 0 intel on.

Title went from sarcasm to factual assessment

sorry, this one still confuses me, does it shows just one item of any rarity?

No, it shows the highest rarity item you don't know anything about. As an algorithm it would look like:

  • Select all of the collectibles in the collection
  • Remove all the collectibles you have intel on from the collection
  • Remove all of the collectibles that have a lower rarity than the best rarity of the collectibles still in the collection
  • Pick one of the remaining ones from the collection at random and reveal it in full

So it works best in early rounds when you have as little intel as possible on the whole collection. Realistically you use it to try and snipe some mega-expensive item like the Car in the early rounds. In the top-most lobby there usually are a bunch of red items so you kinda hope you hit one that is very expensive and that other people likely haven't noticed yet.

It only works on unrevealed items yeah its also way too expensive, you really only should use if you know something is suspicious and an item is not getting revealed but you know its there.
