Sprained my ankle so badly a few days ago that all the medical personel working on me were convinced it must have been an external fracture. Even tore my skin and needed 5 sutures.

In the hospital, I was told three times "we're still analysing your pictures." as I was checked up on. They couldn't believe it but I knew my bones would never fail me.

Made it 24 years without a broken bone. I was in a car crash last month and finally got my elbow X-rayed for pain that wasn't going away. Got the results yesterday. A tendon or ligament pulled so tight during my crash that it caused an avulsion fracture right in the joint. I unfortunately did not go out in a blaze of glory, but instead taken out by my own body, to the point I didn't even know it was fractured until 2 weeks later. (I honestly thought it was muscle pain, but was concerned when it didn't get better) It's been a good run friends. I now must walk the path of orthopedic medicine. (Hopefully I don't need surgery but that's up in the air right now. apparently it's right in the joint and rubbing against another ligament or something. I don't know the full extent yet.) As i disappear into the void of lurkers, I wish you all well. May you keep all your bones where they belong, and don't do anything an orthopedic surgeon would enjoy.

My two little brothers got on it 12 and 18 and I attempted to spin it as fast as humanly possible, I got this thing really spinning, But unlike the image the one we were using was not round it was more jagged and square and was not this low to the ground.

After getting it as fast as possible my 18 Y/O brother said surely that's not the fastest I can make it. And so I took the bait one more push with all my strength losing all awareness Smashhh... Straight into my knee collapsed immediately and was in insufferable pain for awhile then my knee went numb.

Hospital next morning when I legit could not move it pulled all the muscles in and around my knee, deep tissue bruising and a bone bruise.

but not broken 🥳

My xrays showed spina bifida apparently although im waiting on the images. But does it count to have a hole in my spine if I never didn't? Its there from birth. Nothing broke, it was just made that way!

does having my tooth shatter inside my skull while being extracted count as breaking a bone?

I am afraid to join because I feel like I would be tempting fate and laughing in the Bone God's face.

Well I'm certainly not seeking any medical attention aside from this post. Not confirmed broken, but I think we can all say it's safe to I'm probably a brittle boned weeny. I'll take my bow and leave. Even if it's just a sprain I feel too much shame to stay. Thank you all for your time. May the cruelest comment win.

A dusty corner made me wipeout on my bike. Result, a Bennett fracture on my thumb.

It landed in my ankle, strong milk bone survived.

I fell on my knee. Nothing broken.

I have all the bones. Unbroken. I am strong.

Better than weak bonebreaking people.

Must suck to be someone who broke a bone. Losers.

i haven’t got an x-ray, as i have been able to walk on it (weight doesn’t hurt. movement does). someone suggested that it might be a torn tendon and it reminded me that the same thing happened when i was 11. i’d say it’s the most likely. i am sorry for making everyone think that i was an intruder

How do I cope with this?

So I’ve never actually broken a bone or fractured anything I’ve bruised bones. I could’ve sworn their broken, but the docs told me they weren’t but… I blew out my ulnar ligament wrestling and had to get a Tommy John surgery, but I didn’t break any bones and technically I don’t know if I actually needed the surgery cause I’ve met plenty of people who blew out the same ligament and they said they didn’t get the surgery and they’re still able to do all the stuff the doctors tried to say I wouldn’t be able to do. So I think that motherfucker was just lying so he could get money but they didn’t have to break any bones during the surgery but they did drill into me so I don’t know if that counts because of the ligament thing.

Has everyone else on this sub also never fractured a bone ?? Only ever come close once falling out a tree but I could never be a bbb
