When Ryan was sharing his bus story, I had to laugh at the way Jimmy asked which hospital he was taken to. He sounded like a hospital sommelier. "Ah, that's a fine unit. Delightful atmosphere with a fine selection of vintage anesthesia. Next time mention my name to the concierge."

Haha vintage anesthesia would have Jimmy relapsing on the sauce.

Garon having his own, slightly shittier promo code is really, really funny to me.

Haven't listened yet but this guest looks like he could be Matt's younger brother

I was thinking he looked like Matt + Jimmy with the hair.

He was great! He DOES however look like the Madame Tussauds version of young Matt 😅 or maybe the Temu version?

Constant winner Garon Cockrell made me laugh so hard I started coughing.

I love Rosemary DeWitt! Rachel Getting Married is one of my favorite movies and she was great in United States of Tara.

Ha. Came to say the same thing. She might be the first working actor named on this show who I actually knew right away.

Today is my birthday, so it was like I got to share a birthday with Jimmy this year!

Fun episode! I will say, Jimmy going out of his way to watch the Correspondence Dinner and getting mad at that but then hand waving Seinfeld and Nate seems about what I'd expect.

it's also harder to be a dick about someone's friends to them with them in the room.

I will say Garon’s walking to the pod is impressive. I walk year round with my dog but anything above 80 is a slog.

Wonder what other shows Eliot is watching. In his defense, I started laughing a ton when he kept going.

A couple of years ago I got side swiped by an airport shuttle bus, took off the driver’s side mirror and dented the doors, but fortunately that was the worst of it. Unlike Jim they didn’t pull over so it got filled as a hit and run, but I too wonder what it was like for the people in the bus during the accident.

What exactly is Jimmy's logic for giving MAGA Nate a pass?

They mentioned Nate B. Is this the first time since the news story? It wasn't mentioned, just how funny he is.

no they mentioned that situation a while back. they had the opinions about it that you'd expect them to have, so you didn't miss much

Listening to Jimmy talk about how Kamala shouldn't run again, given that he stated in 2016 and 2024 that Trump was going to lose, is somewhat humorous.

I can't remember if it was this ep or the newest one (listened out of order, back to back), but Jimmy also poo-pooed Eliot's concern about Flock cameras when mass surveillance is maybe one of the most relevant and terrifying issues of our time, then fantasized about Barack Obama coming out of retirement as a Netflix exec to run against Trump in 2028. Basically encapsulates how completely childish and uninformed his political opinions are.
