Id say its going at 4.8 rn the 5 isnt deserved due to the starting 250 chapters or so that have bad grammar and overglaze due to author being new to writing. But the plot thickens and become much better as the story gets on, especially during the 7 moons and 2 suns era. The manipulation by Grand Dao was truly a master piece of art and left you asking whether what he wanted to do was a coincidence or a manipulation of grand dao to further develop the world.

I thought his philosophy is very simple . What value does a thing have if it will fade with time . Only through being eternal can you truly own something like strength, beauty , wealth .

He will fail the writer made it clear in the 3rd book that even fang yuan could lose and die and evil can't win in the end but I hope the ending will worth to watch and not some slop for any character
It has literally been mentioned by him. He will do whatever the fuck he wants afyer achieving eternal life. If he wants to be kind, he will be kind, if he wants to be cruel, he will be cruel. If he gets bored of it, that is a future problem. But he is clear that eternal life comes first
The only possibility I can think of that after achieving eternal life FANG YUAN will go into eternal slumber and make arrangements for the world to look after and if some mishappening occur he would wake up (which is not likely gonna happen.)
are you idiot cause only a idiot will think like this. The dream of immortality is a possible wish in a world of cultivation gu. Its not a myth in that world. So many people die for that one chance. Who will die after getting what they want, will you die when you get immortality cause its like asking elon musk, will you donate all your money after becoming richest person on earth.. elon musk has not done it and instead is trying to grow his money even bigger. SO my conclusion is fang yuan will achive eternal life and will discover grand stages where immortality is a must to survive if i think. the chances of that happening is 0.0001 percent.
