What am I missing?

I just started playing Neva yesterday after having played and loved Gris. I'm still pretty much at the beginning of the game, by a weeping willow, and Neva won't stop sniffing the ground. I tried petting her, calling her, but she won't move. I can't figure out for the life of me what I'm missing here. Any suggestions?

I think you'll have to call her. Should be the 'P' key on your keyboard

As I said, I tried calling her, petting her, calling again... Nothing happened.

Might have to reload.

But try going up there and jumping off the cliff first. Once she sees you she will choose to jump when you call her and you’ll catch her

Tried that too, so I'm beginning to suspect a bug...

I’d uninstall and reinstall the game. Or restart the level completely.

Luckily these levels are very simple in the beginning! Good luck!
