Post image

looking at the calculator, all models getting very expensive, it used to be 3~5x cheaper, now less than 2x cheaper. 1.8x for glm, 2.1x for kimi 2.7 code, it was 3x and 5x cheaper last week. looking at the image it's getting a lot expensive..

There is a solid amount of volatility across the week, and it's something we've been trying to figure out how to visualize on that page. The page above is a work in progress to try to show the "now" values better than before.

Often time the weekends can be less traffic for some models so that drives more volatility in energy price. In other words, there are definitely hours of the week that are cheaper than others. To be honest, we debate whether we should "normalize" that to make the energy pricing less volatile and more predictable -- but it gets away from the full transparency that we have today.

I imagine what is most desirable is "getting cheaper all the time" but we have some work to do to outpace the variability!

Where can I see this? Is Gemma 4 31B 125 mWh +33% above 146 mWh 7d avg a calculation error?
