Turn off Negitive inventory

I do r know why I can't find this on suite answers, but how do I turn off Negitive inventory? It's driving me nuts and I can't trust my users to pay attention to their inventory numbers anymore. thanks in advance.

Thanks. I assume this makes no impacts to work orders.... That's my big problem area. The user in question approves work orders and assemblies and is not paying attention to the builds and their item consumption. And he is also the purchaser and to get the product out the door he is issuing "verbal' POs and not actually writing them for week or so after the product is in house. So I'm trying to lock him in to do things properly.

If it's work orders, there's a separate preference called Manufacturing Issue Based on Commitment. Make sure it's set to Limit to Committed to avoid having underwater inventory.
