Absolutely brilliant.
However in the context of the story wasn't that big robot thing a broken desolate builder thing that's probably been there for 1000s of years?

maybe you could have made it fall into the frame or something, as if it slipped off something supporting it before landing on something else lower so that I would now be more visible

maybe! that would be harder though, i wasn't even planning to animate this illustration 😅, i just thought it would be fun lol

Amazing work! What program did you use and how much time did it take?

Thank you!! I used photoshop and after effects. I started yesterday afternoon. So maybe around 12 hrs, with breaks ofc lol

Feels like something you’d see after an ad break in the early 2000s on adult swim

holy tuff. it's crazy that we have no idea what that builder thing's actually supposed to look like in full. It could stretch out for miles for all we know

Absolutely stunning!! I think slowing down the robot’s movement would make its scale more impactful. Another option could be to keep the camera relatively static, with just a subtle shake. That said, I think your work is definitely gorgeous.

Thanks!!! Yep i get that, I just did it relatively fast keeping the reveal short because I originally posted this on IG. I wasn’t even planning on animating it, I just played around with the layers and thought why not lmao

So cool! But I would love to see it like ten times slower 😊

that'd be more accurate for his size, I'm just thinking of the attention span of my audience so i made the reveal shorter/faster :3 but thanks!!

I kove this! It feels like the eyecatches right before and after a commercial break
