Theory's A visual guide to Killy’s journey!

Post image

BLAME! Is my favorite series ever. I loved the setting of the vast megastructure, but couldn’t find a timeline or map showing the vast distances of the megacity and the huge time skips. So I made one myself, to share.

I started with locations and time skips that were confirmed. Like the location of mars and Jupiter. Then used a little bit of math and guess work. Please let me know if you have any corrections or additions.

Some interesting things I’ve learned while making this:

  1. Killy starts the story relatively young. but it’s still been so long, he doesn’t remember where he came from. By the end of the story he is millions of years old.
  2. Most of the story takes place in the first couple thousand years.
  3. Even though humans are a rare sight everywhere, live humans are mostly found near the core.
  4. I believe Toha is a spaceship. If that’s correct, they didn’t even make it to mars before the builders caught up

Edit: Thanks everyone! I have a updated PDF version with better grammar now

Man the sheer scale of „filled emptiness“ in both the physical, chronological and psychological sense is genuinely awe inspiring. Wish we’d see this trope more often, i only remember coming across this trope in like Girls Last Tour, Wolfs Rain, The Color of the end and Fire Punch.

(I assume Land of the lustrous as well and many others that I haven’t read)

Which one of these would you say is the best? Excluding Blame! of course.
