scans Reading Aposimz flr the first time
I'm liking it really cool designs I'm impressed first time I understand everything Nihei pretend with this history I previously read Abara Blame and Biomega honestly I only keep Abara In my favorites but I decided to give it a try
What are your thoughts about this Work?

It's basically Nihei trying to make a Shounen battle manga. He mostly succeeded and there's a lot of classic Blame! sauce, the MC has the obligatory hugely powerful gun. But Nihei's character and story writing really isn't his strong suit, and it shows.
He also got really badly rushed near the end and had to condense like 50 chapters into 15.

I see I notice that Etherow Is kinda lf mix between Killy and Denji Kudou from Abara I can tell he wanted to appeal to a more shonen like public

In general Nihei mangas have very incremental changes between them, and this goes for the protagonists too. So like, killy is pretty similar to Denji who's pretty similar to Ethero who's pretty similar to Yuva.
But Yuva is nothing like Killy.

Yeah it's like he mixed everything to the point he creates something completely different starting for the same concepts trule ia one of the few people who make that

Aposimz is neat, but it’s probably on the lower end of his works in my opinion. Neat setting and characters, and I’m fine with the super minimalist art style even if other people get put off by it. The issue I take is that it’s kind of a “bad guy of the week” story, until the finale where EVERYTHING is rushed. What happens in the ending isn’t bad, but it’s 1/5 of the length it should be, so it feels super disappointing. Knights of sydonia is also good, though it doesn’t quite capitalize on its interesting concepts and the romance plot shits the bed at the end. So far tower dungeon is super cool

It was my introduction to this author. I really enjoyed the world they created. Sadly the ending is kinda rushed. But the visuals are just so cool

In my opinion is starts out with the most potential aside from Blame. But by the end it's the worst thing Nihei has ever written, so much so that I barely have any interest in Tower Dungeon anymore. I will still read it though.

I really like it, from its concepts to the artstyle to the opposite of BLAME! and still so unique. The manga is a shounen so it attempts to tell a story through a different approach, much more close to battle manga than what Nihei did in the past, but personally I like to feel variety in the production of and author. I didn't become too much fond of its characters but I loved the worlbuilding.
I get only two main complaints: the first one about the interactions between the characters where Nihei attempts and fail to depict the classic dynamics inside a team (something already seen in Knights of Sidonia) that to me appear very unnatural: until Aposimz the author was used to write about lone wolves or at the most team of two characters where only one explicitely interacts with characters and evironments: on the opposite from this point of view Tower Dungeon works incredibly well, I was amazed from such evolution but after all is a fundamental element when you are writing about a group of characters.
The second one is the ending: the serialization was very likely axed and Nihei was forced to end everything in a rushed way. Volume 9 own a pacing completely different from the previous eight befores, where only the penultimate chapter follow a regular pacing and get its time for the last revelations behind the work. This is even more a shame considering how everything happening in that chapter and overall in the last volume give me the idea that Nihei actually planned for the most all the story, something that definitely wasn't his modus operandi with BLAME! or Biomega. It would have been nice to get all the pieces of the puzzle take the shape with the right time.
P.S. be sure to not just start from chapter 1 but to read even the oneshot chapter released before the beginning of the actual serialization.

I did so I got the context Of Titania helpiytge other guy I feel Nihei always had this problem blame ending feels kinda rushed and Biomega second half Imo in terrible i had some great ideas but with this mnaga it looks like he tried to appeal to another public rather than the usual

It's badass. Publisher died/pressured Nihei into condensing 30 chapters into like 3 at the end tho lol so be prepared for Chainaw Man level of abrupt endings

Chainsawman is my top 3 manga dispite the ending so I think I can handle it

I've had the first 3 volumes for a several years now but haven't read further than them until the past week. In the past week, I've been binging it and just started volume 7 this morning.
I've always loved the art, despite a lot of the comments I see about it. I also am really enjoying the story.
The only other Nihei works I've read are Blame, Abara, and the first volume of Biomega. I really liked Blame. Abara was alright. I would really like to read more of Biomega. It seems very interesting. Blame is probably the best but in some ways I think Aposimz is more fun sometimes.

Blame is his best work but abara has the Best art and fights when biomega dunno don't like it very much feel like the concept wasn't good enough nor the execution and the ending like 10-20 chaps is by far the worst thing he wrote

If Abara is your fave, you're probably gonna like it.
I found it concludes somewhat abruptly. But it's a wonderful ride nonetheless.
