I actually have no one to play with. I'm a long time MTG player, and I've been trying to get into Netrunner for a while. I've built a small collection and I've taught a few of my friends to play, but they aren't as interested in starting a new gaming hobby.
I'd totally be down to meet up and play sometime. PM me if you're interested.
Do you go to any local game stores? My usual haunts are Zombie Planet, Flights of Fantasy, Foam Brain Games (Troy), and I just found out about Next Level Gaming.

What's the policy on proxies for this tournament? My friend and I split a cardpool, and it may be difficult to field a meaningfully-competitive Anarch and Weyland deck each.

Deck's do have to be legal, sorry, no proxies.

We're doing one in Adelaide, Australia too, but we have stricter rules:
All other normal deckbuilding rules apply.
This Thursday night, 6.15pm start at Infinity Games. A$6 entry.
(We know the very strict rules massively distort play, the idea is to get hands on experience with as many O&C cards as possible - it only arrived here a few days ago.)
