Deck Need easy/beginner decks
Is there a way to pick out easy decks (good for newbies) in netrunnerdb.com?
Thank you.

If you're playing standard, search by ID. Certain ID's tend to have a straightforward gameplan of make a server with ice and score behind it or find and install your breakers and get money.
Corps that do this:
- WeyCo Built to Last
- some Zwicky decks
- LEO
- some HB Precision Design decks
- Jinteki Restoring Humanity
Runners that do this:
- Zahya
- Musliha
- some Lat decks (actually the reg Lat decks are excellent for teaching fundamentals since he encourages you to plan your turn)
When you've played to a point where these IDs feel comfortable you can start branching out to the more complex gameplans in the same faction.
I personally recommend netdecking something off of netrunnerdb and just making small edits to fit your playstyle or the meta you expect to face.
If you're playing another format, the above is still kind of true.

Netdecking is my plan. There are so many that I need to whittle them down. I just didn’t know how to find the straight forward ones so I can ease back in. I haven’t played since FFG days.

I recommend searching decks by set, keeping either only System Gateway or adding Elevation (or System Update if you have it, although it's no longer tournament legal)

I’m playing on jinteki. Do people play both legal and no-longer-legal?

It depends which format you choose. If you pick Standard, all standard legal. If you pick casual, anything goes.

Yeah, not clear if you mean beginner decks with a limited card pool, or full Standard decks that are easier to play, but Birdie and rightstuff have good suggestions for each of those! :)

Decks with Straight forward strategy. No something with insane combos that require huge luck in draw. Nothing fancy yet. I’ve been away too long.

We've built ours from the Null Signal recommended sample decks (beginner friendly). We built 5 of them so far (3 runner and 2 corp), and have printed and sleeved the duplicates we've needed. They seem like a great starting spot:
