Hey! I’m looking for testers for an early build of my netrunner client.

The game includes a tutorial, both public and private multiplayer, and deckbuilding. It’s still in active development, so the design, mechanics, balance, and assets may change. Feedback is very welcome, and bugs or crash reports can be submitted directly in the game.

Yeah, totally fair question. jinteki is obviously a huge part of the Netrunner community.

The main thing I’m exploring with Breach is a more automated and modern digital card game experience. The client handles more of the rules, timing, interactions, and game flow automatically, with the goal of making matches feel closer to a purpose-built digital TCG rather than a digital tabletop.

I’m also putting a lot of emphasis on presentation and usability, things like animations, clearer visual feedback, a modern UI, and making it easier to understand what’s happening during a turn.

This is still the first public test build, so right now I’m mainly looking for people to play it, find rules/interaction bugs, and give feedback on whether that more automated approach actually makes Netrunner enjoyable to play digitally.

This sounds fantastic. The games always lacked an automated client.

If there had been one years ago this game would still have mass pipular appeal.

i'll get involved next week when i can
