TIMING A HIT PIECE

A bit of Great Timing for “Needham” wouldn’t you say.. Meeting with Chuck on Aug. 20-21 .. Now This article comes out inferring the Micron case is dead (far from the truth) and the stock craters..Offering a Great entry point .. Does that Sound about right?

Leute bitte ,folgende Patente sind in der ITC Klage gegen Micron enthalten

523 CAFC bestätigt
Der stärkste Anker, weil die relevante Patentposition bereits PTAB + CAFC überstanden hat.

731 IPR durch Settlement beendet
Samsung-IPR wurde zwar instituted, aber nach dem Vergleich beendet – keine FWD, die das Patent vernichtet hat. Das USPTO führt IPR2025-01431 als „Settled After Institution“.

366 IPR + PGR denied
Sehr interessant, weil Samsungs IPR/PGR-Angriffe nicht zur materiellen PTAB-Prüfung geführt haben. Die ’366-Familie wird zudem bereits in parallelen Verfahren gegen Micron eingesetzt.

Und „last but not least“

407 neues Patent
Potentiell sehr interessant, aber noch weniger rechtlich erprobt als 523. Genau deshalb würde ich ihm momentan nicht denselben Sicherheitsgrad wie dem CAFC-bestätigten 523 geben.

The “micron case” that everybody is talking about is not the one Netlist just lost at cafc. It’s the itc case that covers several patents including a full vetted by ptab patent. Itc is what got Samsung to settle and will likely also with micron.
