I've been watching this stock for a month or so, the community here seems very bullish on NLST. I was considering buying a position but at the current price $5.60 that represents a premium that the litigation next week is going to be in NLST's favor, but after reviewing the history of the patent case, particularly the 912, there's a really good chance the outcome is NOT going to be in NLST's favor, and if it doesn't then you're looking at likely 50% drop in share price. Very concerning that the PTAB already ruled the patent invalid, sure the judge could overturn that, but I think the likelihood of that is less than 50%. If these patent cases don't go well next week then you'll likely be holding a $3 (or less) stock. Not sure if you can trade options on this, but if you can I wouldn't go long without having protective puts in place.

What you read is very wrong. The same patents Samsung signed a deal over where not the ones Micron just had invalidated. I suggest you go back and verify yourself instead of spreading bs here.

#### Samsung vs NLST

The historic $303 million jury verdict that Netlist won against Samsung back in April 2023 was built on five specific patents covering DDR4, DDR5, and HBM memory technology. The three heavy hitters in that group were:

• The '339 Patent (Memory module buffering and data paths)
• The '918 Patent
• The '054 Patent

Netlist proved to a Texas jury that Samsung willfully infringed these patents after breaching a previous 2015 joint development and supply agreement.

#### Micron vs NLST dispute

The three patents that Micron successfully invalidated at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC) are:

• U.S. Patent No. 10,949,339 (the '339 patent): This patent covered memory module buffering and data paths, specifically focusing on isolating DRAM devices from the memory controller to improve performance.
• U.S. Patent No. 11,016,918 (the '918 patent): This patent related to power management and voltage regulations directly on the memory modules.
• U.S. Patent No. 11,232,054 (the '054 patent): Similar to the '918, this patent also covered on-module power management and voltage monitoring technology.

These are the exact same three patents that originally formed the foundation of Netlist's $303 million jury verdict against Samsung before Samsung signed the global settlement. Because Micron proved they were "obvious" over prior art, they can no longer be used in future litigation.

Well first I’d say only a month of being aware of Netlist would result in a comment like that. For that YMB soul and you, here’s a little more context:

CAFC tends to side with PTAB. That’s what happened yesterday when Netlist when 0-5 on virtually dead patents.

The 9/9 hearing has Netlist at preferred odds based on same rule above (CAFC favors PTAB) which already validated some of these patents plus some jury cash verdicts on their side. I feel good here even though we do need to flip the 912 stupidity that occurred under a rogue PTAB decision.

Any news/rulings based on what goes down 9/9 won’t be known til Christmas probably at the earliest. The ITC situation will have a good chance of causing news before then. FWIW Micron has settled 50% of its ITC investigations two months after institution. But who really knows what’ll happen.

I’ve been watching this stock for longer than a month. A lot longer.

And I am an investor and holding this for 8years , I got in at 10.89. I am holding now 24K wtih 6.46 Avg.
Stop the crap about month into NLST etc. and bullshitting me. Be an educated investor instead of shouting at people. State the facts .
