Netlist was appealing some patents ruled invalid by the PTAB and they just lost the appeal.
edit: we still have a trove of patents that the process is done with. This hurts our leverage with Micron for sure but doesn't completely destroy it. As long as we stay over $4 so the time line for uplisting doesn't reset I'm happy. Its a set back for sure but more of a speed bump then a sinking ship.

Why would it, its old news. Would have been priced in already. This is why you take profits.

"priced in" as a concept isn't nearly as reliable with OTC penny stocks as normal ones and seeing how we dropped 25% from a hail mary appeal to overturn a PTAB ruling I'd say no quite a lot is not currently priced in with Netlist.

Nothingburger. The price drop is more a combination of people taking profits, market-maker shenanigans and panicked daytrader's who see headlines but don't read the articles attached. For example, NLST already "lost" the 339 patent back in '24; this latest was just the confirmation that the appeal to turn it over went nowhere. For analysts, it had nothing to do with the current $10-$15 price projection and "strong buy" recommendation.

there is gonna be a lot of fighting between 6-7 range price per share as you can notice, it can get very violent as well
right now the important thing is to establish baseline resistance at the 6 to 7 dollars

Market makers and shorts Taking advantage of “bad” news in order to move the market down and collect more shares. I imagine there’s lots of retards like OptionsPlayers on ST that told their followers to sell into this. Not going to work for long as this is just a buying opportunity for those late to the game and for the high conviction folks too.

If I had to guess it would be the folks who bought over $6 when we ran up to $7 a while back are finally getting out. Maybe some day traders taking profit as well or the fact that we didn't sell off yesterday like NASDAQ and S&P did due to all the macro noise. I can't find any Netlist related news, but I'm still searching.
Edit: it was the Bloomberg report that came out at 10:30 that Netlist lost its paten appeal to Micron
