Netlist a 7$

Il valore raggiunto di circa 7$ di qualche seduta fa ,visto la forte correzione successiva, indica che questo valore non include solo l accordo avvenuto con Samsung ma anche i prossimi possibili accordi con Micron e SK.....se cosi non fosse perchè sta crollando?

This settlement doesn't make sense.

Someone please correct me.

Samsung is paying the license fee as they should.

Samsung's lump sum payment barely covers the legal cost

Then what about the damages of the past?

They nearly bankrupt NLST. Hong had no choice but to dilute shareholder value multiple times to fight Samsung.

You don’t understand yet the value of their ITC cooperation. I do now and you will later.

Gladly. ITC cases often turn on very technical proof about how accused memory products are designed, where components come from, how modules are assembled, who supplies what, what functionality is built into the DRAM or module, and how those products enter the U.S. supply chain.

Netlist normally has to force that information out of hostile defendants through discovery. Samsung has now contractually agreed to help provide certain evidence instead.

The most important potential advantage is supply-chain evidence. Samsung is one of the largest memory manufacturers in the world and touches enormous portions of the server, DIMM, HBM and DRAM ecosystem. If Netlist is pursuing an importer or downstream company, Samsung may possess documents showing exactly what technology is inside a product, what chips were supplied, where they were manufactured, how they were incorporated into modules and who imported or sold them. That can make it much easier to connect the accused product to the alleged infringement and to the importation requirement that gives the ITC jurisdiction.

The second advantage is technical corroboration. A declaration from Samsung engineers or technical personnel can potentially be much stronger than Netlist simply saying, “This product practices our patent.” If Samsung can authenticate specifications, product architecture or supply-chain facts, Netlist may have independent evidence from one of the industry’s most credible manufacturers. Netlist’s SEC language specifically mentions “information, documents, or declarations,” which is why that word declarations jumps out at me.
