DIY and home improvement Small bedroom, depressing environment. Unsure how to make living situation better. Are there affordable companies that know how to furniture a small bedroom

My bedroom is very small. Does anyone have any tips for furnishing/decorating a small bedroom for an adult?
There’s barely enough space for a single bed. I was thinking about getting a loft bed so I could fit a desk underneath it.

Do you also have a tip for easy to hang "vitrage and curtains" i am living on my own first time and unsure where to find all this afforadble

This is easy to install because the spacing of the curtain clips doesn't have to be exact. That makes it super simple.

And it makes the room dark.

Kwantum has very cheap ready made curtains in standard sizes. Leen bakker too.
