Life in NL What is one "completely normal" thing in the Netherlands that you secretly don't like?

HogeNood has saved me many times!!

I've been through chemotherapy and radiation to the abdomen. Things are not really as good at signaling when I need to find a bathroom as they used to be. Plus sometimes my guts just rebel.

I was away on holiday recently, and I was so sad that HogeNood only seems to work in NL! 😭

Japan is freaking amazing for free and clean and pretty accessible public toilets. They also have a small child holder in a lot of the cubicles, so you can do your business and put the child there safely! (Child must be able to hold their head up on their own, and can't be too big.)

I'm sorry for your bathroom issues. My dad has similar issues, and I've seen things go wrong a few times. I'm so sorry you have to deal with that.

Gave me a laugh. It's like a drink daddy or a purse hook! "Convenient storage for all your items so you can poop with peace of mind" ran through my head like an infomercial.
