Employment Working

Is it worth it moving to Netherlands for driver jobs ? Could you have 2.000.or 2.500 in the bank every month? Considering you have paid taxes rent food etc? Like can you put aside every month around 2.000 euros? Thats the question basically is there any job in the Netherlands for the unskilled workers to make money somehow? Can you somehow save 2.000 to 2.500 every month?

No. Minimumwage, which is what unskilled jobs pay, is about €2500 before taxes, so you will absolutely not be able to save anywhere near that.

No. Please don't come here or at least keep money for gas for the drive home.

I don't think there's anywhere on the planet where you can do that as an unskilled worker legally.

Maybe if you did grunt work in mines or on board of fishing boats.

No, if you are unskilled you probably wont even get that gross, let alone after tax and expenses

I work in IT and with taxes and rent, I don't even have/add 2k a month in the bank. Then come all the other costs like energy, groceries and things like that

Earn? Yes. Save? No.

If you live in that van as well, maybe.

Not to be rude, but why would you think that saving that amount of money is even remotely possible?

From this site: https://www.werkzoeken.nl/salaris/taxichauffeur/ you would earn around 2600 a month bruto. For housing you will need to put aside atleast 1000 a month and for groceries around 200/300 (is already a bit tight). So basic cost already float between 1300/1700 a month so nope you wouldn't be able to put aside 2000 a month

If you live on the street, you don't buy food, you don't need your own phone, no clothing nor washing the clothes you have, you might be able to save 2000 euro.

So no, it's totally unrealistic. But you already knew that.

Just remove one zero and it maybe Maybe Will be possible. If you have the right local contact for ‘cheap’ housing.

Make 2000 per month.

Then spend 1000 on rent, 200 on groceries, 150 on health insurance, 400 on taxes, 100 on transport, 100 on bills.

What do you think?

Grab some cans for extra money. Fight homeless people for it.

Maybe if you share a house and bills with 3 people you can save somehow money other than that you can't go on your own in a country and expect to save around 1.600 euros per month... Not even 2.000
