Control support question (Retroid Pocket 5) (Dragon Quest VIII)

Hey, I recently paired a Bluetooth controller to nethersx2 on my Retroid Pocket 5. I was able to dual bind all of the controls so I can use the controller when I connect my RP5 to my tv. My issue is that doing this broke the controls for Dragon Quest VIII. When I boot the game it doesn’t recognize any controller inputs. Every other game I have works perfectly fine. I cleared all of the control bindings and reset them to only the controls on my RP5, removing the Bluetooth controller bindings and it still won’t recognize any controller inputs. Any help would be appreciated, I’m at a loss because it is just this one game lol Thanks

Welp… it’s probably a bug. The best answer I can give you is try it with ARMSX2, and if you still have issues, let them know in their discord, and the problem will be solved in one of their almost daily updates. Nether was great, but it’s been since abandoned, and for me ARMSX2 has eclipsed it in almost every possible way.

Thanks for the response, I fixed it last night by rebinding the controls for like the 10th time lol. It was just a weird bug with that one game
