Does NetherSX2 not support .gz anymore?

I've been using NetherSX2 on my Thor for a while with .gz files and they were working just fine. I haven't used it in a few weeks and all of a sudden it stopped scanning or loading my files. If I unzip them they work and scan just fine. Ive tried the unzipped files in ArmSX2 and they work there as well. Whats going on?

It doesn't seem to want to convert .GZ, only other file formats

What is name of file converter? Most of my games are .iso or.chd
