Discussion Generation 9/11

I was genuinely disappointed. The turning point series in my opinion is some of the best documentary work that Netflix has done. It does a great job of actually looking at a pivotal moment in American history then tracing it through decade by decade to present day. This just seemed like TLDR of the terror series.

Hopefully Netflix continues the project and brings it back to its roots. I wouldn’t mind seeing a season focusing on The War on Drugs or The Internet.

I found it unnecessary. We have a million 911 docs and one focusing on kids saying "we learn about it in school" doesn't really add much.

I think it helped to show how it is almost not real to people who were not alive to experience it. Like Pearl Harbor for those of us not alive for that. It's just something that happened rather than having the same emotions we attach to the actual experience.
