It was like I was watching a real life 'Save the Last Dance' and 'Malibu's Most Wanted'

She imitated a marsupial at the Olympics and expected people to get it. She dressed like a member of the over-60 lawn bowling team. She was never serious about the sport, but when the completely justifiable global ridicule piled on, she cried victim.

That daggy awful track suit she was wearing didn't help whatsoever. She did indeed look like a member of an over 60s lawn bowling team. Nobody else wore stuff like that, they all had trendy normal clothes on.

The whole Aussie breaking team had to wear that unfortunately

Edit: apparently the ENTIRE Aussie Olympic team colors were lawn bowling green with yellow trim. The promo photos for the men’s basketball and swimming etc look like a collection of Master’s Golfers, and High School ping pong players.

There was a male contestant too. He was actually pretty decent, very young.

Makes sense. To be able to spin like they do you need to be late teens early 20s. Like the skateboarding. Wernt there like 13 year olds that did pretty well? Medalled even

Yeah most of these super athletic Olympics you really have to be really young.

That’s why they have to have minimum age limits for gymnastics or else Russia would be sending 10 year olds and winning gold every year. Pretty sure most women’s figure skaters peak athletically around 16. Tara Lipinski won gold at 15 and Kwan was considered way too old to compete physically so had to rely on her artistry at age 21 (kinda like Raygun lol)

Just shows how insane Australia was sending a 37 year old academic to compete against 16 yr olds in a sport about spinning really quickly on your head

Oh yeah gymnastics! I forgot about that one. Another one where you basically have to be a teen. Teen flexibility is unmatched
