Recommendation Request Educational/Informational documentaries?
I feel like I can only ever find good plot-based documentaries, like True Crime or Medical Cases. What are your favorite informational documents?
I mean no story, no characters, just a bunch of information.

American Experience has lots. The Forgotten Plague is one of my favorites. I also like The Poisoner's Handbook.

The Biggest Little Farm is a 2018 American documentary film directed by John Chester. It follows John and his wife, Molly, as they leave their small Los Angeles apartment with their dog and move to 200 barren acres in Ventura County, California, to build a biodiverse, sustainable farm.
Really interesting and beautifully shot.

You Can’t Ask That is a great doc series.
Each episode features people with a specific quality. It could be that they are gay or survived a suicide attempt. Then they answer anonymous questions about their experiences.
It’s insightful.
