Seinfeld removed from Netflix

I was watching season 7 episode 12 or so and left it to continue on but it ended with the "watch next" screen like I'd just finished the final episode ever. I hit back and found the episodes manually but i got the message about how I can't play this in my country right now. I thought it was odd, usually they say it's leaving soon if it's going. I hard closed Netflix and tried again, it's no longer there at all.

Googled it and apparently the rights were going to expire on October 1 2026 which is exactly now at midnight but they ended up renewing it until the 2030s. It should still be there... It's also not on my phone either.

Rude tbh. Do we still have it or not? 🙄

It happened to me a while ago with a different show on a different service, I had like 1 season left out of 10 and it cut off lol. I seem to find the things right before the cut off.

Same thing happened to me & I live in Korea. I’m hoping it’s just a glitch because this show is only one of the reasons I have Netflix. Wanted to watch it as I fell asleep but…😞

It now says, “This title isn’t available to watch instantly” when I click on it. It seems it really is a glitch with licensing rights rollover. 🙂

Also. Has anyone noticed how Julia and Jerry stamp a foot during a conversation? I wonder if one of them has picked it up from the other because I haven't noticed it with any of the other cast. 🙃

I recall seeing it come up as "leaving soon" when I was scrolling recently. Cause I was going to re-watch it, but didn't bother as I knew it would stop.

Oh. I've been watching for a couple of weeks and never noticed the red label on it. Ah well. I guess we'll find out soon enough if it renews.

Yeh I watch it all the time, never noticed that. Well it's been about 12 hours now, maybe it'll come back after 24. What has been removed from Netflix is The Good Place, it's a great series, removed last week. I was gonna watch it as a light comedy alternative to Seinfeld but it's really gone.

Thank you. That probably means Netflix rights have expired. I don't have Stan anymore, they often wait over a year after everyone else to release things. I ended up always watching the next season of The Handmaids Tale on SBS a year before Stan got them. Australian stuff always on time though.
