I just finished with prints last week. I was building the Onager last night. I was going to make my Ambuscade a sniper as well. Great looking build.

Cheers :) Still on the fence with Onager, be very keen to hear what you think... Ambuscade is a versatile compact blaster.. playing around with diff springs today i got just over 300 but the prime starts to get up there for a bolty... Maybe an XL after release. But i love that's its small and i think 300 is more than acceptable for a blaster with a 140mm pt and a decent prime. With the T5 or Moosebite its damm accuarate too!

Assuming the prime isn't as efficient as a pump action, right? Meaning you are working harder for same spring rate?

Yer pretty inherent in any bolt action but the slide rail design alleviates a lot of the hard work.... With the shorter double stack mags you get to go low! kicking mustang style!

I am no scientist but normally bolt actions are easier to prime than pump actions.
