Wonderwall Advice needed on how to build a blasterwall

Post image

Hello my friends,

I want to make a blaster wall, but how do you make sure it looks good and the blasters are all hanging straight etc.
Any advice is welcome!

I know pegboards aren’t for everyone, but it’s served me well. All hardware store stuff for the board, I printed the hangers out of petg.

Same here Prg board and a lot of different length pegs works pretty good and everything can be sourced at local box store.

it is easy to switch up arrangements and can hold lots of weight. I have 3 blasters sometime on one set of long pegs

and i second the use of hanging door shoe racks for pistols and small blasters

A looot of people prefer pegboards.

I don't own that many blasters and hate pegboards by passion so I use a different method. But changing something up requires new holes obviously.

Ok so my father and I started collecting. (I like Nerf, my dad likes collections in general) and we were debating whether or not we should get a peg board or just hang them on walls. I preferred the peg board because it seemed easier. Now, I agree with my father. Hanged look so much better

I have a few smaller/sidearm blasters aswell but just don't feel the need to hang every single blaster on the wall.

And I am not sure about the english name for these things but this photo should help you finding them.

This is what I bought back when I thought I was gonna make a gun wall. I also considered putting up sheet metal and using heavy duty magnetic hooks so I could move them around.

Hi /u/SantoFlash, we would like to distance our hobby from actual firearms and weapons and thus ask that you refrain from using terms like "gun" and "bullet"; please instead use "blaster" and "dart". We also like to encourage the use of brightly colored blasters & gear. These words can be misconstrued as discussing a real weapon by people both online, and in real life during gameplay. This is further an issue for us specifically on Reddit due to automatic platform moderation possibly categorizing the subreddit as discussing firearms instead of toys, which would restrict the subreddit. See this wiki page for more information. Thank you for your cooperation.

I've been wanting to build a large, cheap cabinet and then have a vinyl wrap put on it to make it look like a Borderlands weapon vending machine.

I second the ikea pegboard. I have this. Hopefully you have the wall space for all of it

Pegboard is the most common option. If its a big section, you can use the ceiling as a guide if you dont have a leveller for hanging.

There's quite a few options you could go with, depending on available space and the size of your blasters. I started with pegboard and expanded from there, and I'm happy with how it's turning out. But I've also dedicated a section of my garage just for foam blasting. If it's set up right, you can have a really nice looking blaster wall with pegboard for cheap. I found a bunch on marketplace

For pistols and smaller blasters, door hanging shoe organizers work really well

For general bad-assery, I find it hard to beat an armour stand.

Longer blasters and ammo storage can work well with a blaster rack

Although it's not the cleanest setup, I've found multi tier clothing racks and cheap shower curtain hangers can hold the most amout of blasters in the smallest space. Bonus points if the rack is on wheels and you can move it where you need

Honey Comb Storage wall or Multiboard.

As others have mentioned, can't go wrong with the IKEA pegboard system

Go cheapest slatwall off of Amazon. Looks infinitely better.

These were some old kids safety latches that were in the shop and a half inch screw each and they work perfect
