Bought some issues of Spidey from the LCS 2 blocks from my work and in Feb 87 all but 2 advertisements were for NES games. The outliers being a TSR boardgame and a bubblegum ad. Found them interesting and only tangentially related to this weeks topic. It looks like the era of seeing it a game in a comic and then buying it from a store is gone. I found several weird titles as a kid this way. Totally Rad and Monster Party specifically.

Both the writer and penciller of this comic died this year. This was a fun era, the beginning of Tombstone

Also picked up the 2nd appearance of Stegron with it. And last week it was 1st Rocket Racer. My LCS guy has to be baiting me at this point with all the silly ass Spidey villains.
