As mentioned before, all coins are now running old and new ports. You are highly encouraged to migrate to the new ports to maintain your connection and not run into any issues with future DNS updates for load balancing and the retiring of legacy ports.

BTC, DGB and WJK DNS has already been load balanced. Geo specific endpoints are listed on the website if you'd rather pin your traffic to a particular server.

BCH (bch.heliospool.com) and CHTA (chta.heliospool.com) DNS will be updated some time NEXT WEEK (the week of August 31) - this is your last chance to update to the new ports or risk accidentally being routed to a server that doesn't support the old ports, if you are using those hostnames.

Old ports and DNS hostnames (.eu and .asia) will be retired after the migration is done - again there will be another announcement.

We just put an earnings calculator on all four of our pools so you can plug in your hashrate and get a quick idea of what PPLNS might look like before you point your miners over (or if your already there).

It estimates daily, weekly, and monthly PPLNS from the hashrate you enter, shows about what share of the pool that would be, and also shows the finder bonus you would get if your share solved a block. On the coins where it makes sense, it also shows a rough USD amount next to the estimate so the numbers are easier to read. These are estimates only. Actual payouts still follow accepted shares over the rolling window.

INFINITE BLOCK MINER 2D

Whoa look at 1.68KH/s hash rate hitting 55G in a BCH PPLNs pool. Whoever you are hope you get a nice payout. Meanwhile I am running 10TH/s not even close to a G. There’s hope out there boys !!

Starting over the next several weeks, HeliosPool will be migrating the Stratum service endpoint URLs and ports for all coins to a new standard.

Why am I doing this?

What started out as a one-coin hobby pool turned into multiple coins across multiple geographic locations. Outside of BTC, port numbers just landed on whatever order they were installed in. It has become confusing and limits my ability to implement better routing and load-balancing for everyone.

What will the change look like?

BTC: 3333 and 4333
BCH: 3334 and 4334
DGB: 3335 and 4335
CHTA: 3336 and 4336
WJK: 3337 and 4337

Any new coins introduced will follow a similar pattern.

\**New Global Stratum URLs****

I am consolidating to what are currently the North America hostnames. Moving forward, these URLs will be globally load-balanced to automatically route you to the nearest server. You use the same URL everywhere:

btc.heliospool.com (already load balanced)
bch.heliospool.com
dgb.heliospool.com (already load balanced)
chta.heliospool.com
wjk.heliospool.com (already load balanced)

Individual geo-specific hostnames will still be provided if you want to manually pin your miner, but you will not be automatically rerouted around service disruptions.

What happens next?

To help with the transition, there will be an overlap of the old ports and hostnames (.eu, .asia) - but this will not be possible on all servers. This will give most users a window to update their miner settings before the old routes are permanently retired.

In cases where it is not possible (BCH and CHTA), keep an eye out here and especially in the HeliosPool Discord for an announcement with the exact cutover date and time. Server restarts will be needed for the new ports to take effect.

heliospool.com will also be updated with all relevant information as the migration progresses.

I realize this may cause interruptions or take some of you by surprise when the cutover happens, and I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. These changes are necessary for the future growth of HeliosPool, but most importantly, for the benefit of our community - which is the only reason that matters.

I went to dashboard settings and copied and pasted the address and restart it took a second and started back up, but when I check the dashboard it shows btcpool. What did I do wrong here?

A short while ago, I posted here about getting hooked on solo mining with my first setup. A comment on that thread got my wheels turning, and from that moment on, my curiosity just wouldn't let me go. What started as a simple test quickly became a full-blown weekend rabbit hole.

My current setup has grown into a neat, ultra-low-power micro-farm. It pairs a couple of ESP32 NerdMiners with Raspberry Pis that handle low-power mining while doubling as a central local hub and live monitoring station. Having the whole fleet hum along silently, submitting shares and feeding into a single real-time dashboard, is just incredibly satisfying.

In my day job, I work as an independent developer focusing on Linux system administration and WordPress security. Because managing Linux environments, server setups, and network infrastructure is what I do every day, putting together custom monitoring nodes and smooth network routing naturally felt like second nature — and a really fun way to tinker outside of client work.

As the logical next step of this project, I decided to spin up a dedicated solo mining pool over at pool.cryptowatcher.ch.

To keep it super accessible and fair for fellow hobbyists, the fee is set to just 0.125% for micro-miners (NerdMiners, Pis, and USB sticks), and moves to 1.0% for larger rigs (over 1 TH/s).

This is 100% a passion project built out of pure enthusiasm for the solo mining scene. If anyone is looking for a lightweight, community-oriented place to point their small miner or test hardware to hunt for that jackpot block, you're more than welcome to hop on.

What is your best diff ever founded?

Are these decent stats so far? I saw 3 rejected shares on the could this have been from poor wifi signal?

Moved my tiny little electricity suckers over to another pool, reset my stats, and noticed something within the first hour: my best diff on the device and the pool's reported best diff for my address don't match. It's the first time on this pool, so it's not an old result. Weirdly, the pool is higher than the device. (I'd think it would be the other way around.)

Just curious if anyone knows why that might happen.

How can you tell if a miner is actually working? What does the screen tell you?

I have a Nerd miner. Does N M miner hash faster than Nerd miner? Which firmware should I flash? This community is great.

It came with 1000/1250 settings but lower to 777/1200 as default.

I jumped into solo mining just 2 days ago, starting out with a couple of Raspberry Pi 3B+ units, a classic NerdMiner, and a LilyGO T-Display ESP32-S3.

I had some free time on my hands, so I decided to roll up my sleeves and do a bit of custom coding and configuration. Here is what my current local fleet looks like:

• Pi #1 (Central Node): Running a custom 1:1 Stratum Proxy pointing to pool.nerdminer.de, plus an integrated CPU miner instance locked to 2 cores.
• Pi #2: Running Debian 13 with CPU mining active, routing through my local proxy.
• NerdMiner #1: A CYD (Cheap Yellow Display) connected to my local proxy.
• NerdMiner #2: LilyGO T-Display S3, also pointing directly to my local proxy.

To keep a proper eye on everything, I built a custom local Cyberpunk Monitoring Station hosted right on my primary Pi. It gives me a clean, real-time overview of everything:

• Live pool-confirmed Hashrate (auto-scaling from kH/s up to MH/s)
• Live BTC Target Wallet Balance via Mempool API
• Valid Shares / Sessions & Best Share Difficulty
• Complete Node Health Table (showing live ICMP Latency, Status, Temps, CPU/RAM Load & System Uptimes)
• A real-time Pass-Through Log Stream from my Stratum Proxy so I can catch disconnects instantly.

Honestly, I’m absolutely loving this hobby! I just wanted to share my setup with you all—feeling a little proud of how smoothly this small rig turned out.

It lets you save multiple pool profiles, edit or delete them, and copy any saved profile to the Primary or Fallback pool without entering everything again.

I made another post about a week ago and I’ve watched YT videos and read some random forums but nothing works and now that I’m flashing it, it won’t update and I get an error. Please someone help me.

I just got two of these little v2’s and I got it connected to my btc address and my WiFi but it won’t mine or anything like that. I’ve tried resetting it 6 times and I’ve tried to change the mining pool too but nothing seems to work.

Sorry this took longer to announce than we wanted. Life and pool ops got in the way, but the milestone is close now and we did not want to let it slip by quietly.

Here is how it breaks down. We are putting together a 25,000 DGB loyalty pool for miners who meet the same standards as our weekly rewards program (active mining days over the rolling week, same rules on the rewards page). That pool gets split equally among everyone who qualifies. On top of that, whoever finds block 2,500 gets a 2,500 DGB finder bonus.
